Executive Team & Bios
Stephen Eldred – President & CEO
Stephen joined Windward as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2005 and became its CEO in 2011. Mr. Eldred has a proven track record in a variety of assignments in Europe, the Far East and the U.S. as a CFO and a CEO in companies focused on engineering, packaging, and gaming.
David Fenderson – Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Development
David Fenderson joined Windward Petroleum in 2004. Prior to his time at Windward, Mr. Fenderson was a marketer principal of Maine Lubrication Service which merged with Windward in 2004. David has over 25 years of lubricants experience, and in his current position has responsibility for delivering customer value through focused concentration on new product initiatives and executing on the brand’s commitments and promises. David has major key account responsibilities and manages Windward Petroleum’s industrial lubricants and ancillary product offerings. David is a 1985 graduate of Hobart College with a degree in Economics.
Lou Demaio – Senior Vice President of Sales
Louis joined Windward Petroleum in October of 1999. Lou’s heritage at Bailey Distributing reflects 30 years of industry experience in new business development along withmarketing, new product development, strategic planning, and budgeting, operations, purchasing and vendor management. Lou has worked in conjunction with Windward’s Senior Management Team managing the daily sales activities of up to 75 salespeople in four business units; ingesting technology along with a sales discipline which has led to the execution of organizational goals. Lou is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University.
Meg Fenderson – Director of Management Information Systems
Meg has 11 years experience in the industry, including her service as the Director of Finance for Maine Lubrication Service until the company merged with Windward Petroleum in 2004. Prior to Maine Lubrication, Meg had 9 years experience in financial management and auditing in private and public accounting including 5 years with a Big 4 accounting firm in Boston, MA. In her current role, Meg identifies, develops and implements systems, programs and process improvements required to support our ERP requirements and supporting “best practices” technologies.
Greg Geisinger – Director of Operations
Greg came to Windward in 2001 and brought a deep experience in managing large scale retail, distribution and warehousing operations. He has managed customer service, transportation, distribution, warehousing, logistics and purchasing at Windward before performing at his current position as Director of Operations. This “in the trenches” experience enables him to effectively support Windward Petroleum’s focus on optimizing customer service.
Kevin Gordius – Director of Inside Sales/Customer Service
Kevin came to Windward Petroleum with 22 years of sales, marketing and operations experience from UPS. He has extensive sales, call center and other technology related experience that has helped him build an experienced inside sales and customer service team. His expanse distribution knowledge has helped make Windward Petroleum an organization you can count on!
Henry Williams – Accounts Receivable Manager
Henry joined Windward in 1988 and currently heads up the Accounts Receivable department. Mr. Williams is a CPA and has worked in Finance, Operations, Sales and General Management. Mr. Williams worked in the wholesale pharmaceutical industry prior to joining Windward.
Stephanie Dugas – Human Resources Coordinator
Stephanie joined Windward in 1990. In addition to working in Human Resources Ms. Dugas is involved with Risk Management and serves on our Safety Committee. Ms Dugas has served in our Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing and Payroll departments.
